About the Department
Jananayak Chandrashekhar University has a Department of Political Science. The department was established
in 2020, since then it is continuously moving ahead in achieving its vision and mission.
The Department of Political Science has a team of experienced and dedicated faculty members who are
specialized in various sub-fields of Political Science such as International Relations, Political Theory,
Comparative Politics, Public Administration, and Indian Politics. The faculty members are actively involved in
research and publication activities and are also engaged in organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences
to promote research and scholarship in Political Science.
The postgraduate program offered by the Department of Political Science is two-year Master of Arts (MA)
degree program, and the doctoral program is a three-year research program leading to the award of a Ph.D.
degree in Political Science.
The department also provides opportunities for students to participate in various co-curricular and
extracurricular activities such as debates, seminars, conferences, and workshops, which help to enhance their
skills and knowledge in the field of Political Science.
